Recently we have been spending lots of time outside and when we were asked if we would test drive Little Tikes Lean to Turn Scooter Joshua was over the moon.
So far Joshua (just turned 3) has never been on a scooter never mind owned one so I was a little dubious that he would even get how to use it never mind actually be flying up and down on it.
When he arrived he was super excited to find a scooter in the box .. and I was really pleased to find that it was super easy to put together too so it was ready to use in a flash and the tools (allen keys) were supplied too!
So with an excited toddler and an anxious Mummy we headed to the garden to see ….
I was amazed.
Joshua climbed aboard the scooter and off her went, he flew round the garden with such grace and ease I think my chin hit the floor!
The Little Tikes Scooter is aimed at 18 months to 3 years, I think Joshua being a few weeks off this 3 rd birthday when we were sent it for review was an utterly perfect age for him to learn. I don’t think Joshua personally would of been able to grasp it at 18 months as he was very unbalanced and tumbled regularly, but if your child is balanced there is not reason why they couldn’t do it at 18 months I suppose.
The scooter features: easy-touch safety brake, soft rubber grips, sturdy three wheel base, a wide deck for stable ride, lean to turn steering, and durable, quiet-ride tyres!
We do need to look at getting him some elbow and knee pads, along with a helmet as he is really picking up speed now and I think my panicking parent hat has come out even though its one of the most stable I have seen to date with its big chunky double wheels on the front.
Overall with a price tag of £29.99 and the quality you expect from Little Tikes again showing in this product, I thought it was super value for money.
Well done Little Tikes on yet another super product!
