A while ago I started noticing some fantastic images of some funky lunches all being served in a super lunch box, many were Bento style lunches and since creativity is not one of my forte’s I have been watching with interest.
At the beginning of August I was sent my very own Yumbox in the new design (Panino) to give it a test drive and for me to give you my thoughts.
On arrival I fell a little bit more in love with the look of it when I noticed that the insides are splattered with ideas on what to put in each segment which is more handy than they will ever realise with an uncreative person like me!
The Yumbox has been used by the teen, toddler and myself and I love the fact it can be used across the family. My favourite feature of the whole thing was the leakproof lid (I know I am sad) however this nifty little feature makes it fantastic to add in things like pasta, coleslaw and even dips and sauces .. and after 4 weeks of using and washing the lid still keeps things where you put them with no leakage which is fantastic.
I love the that materials used in the production of the Yumbox are food safe, BPA-free and phthalates-free and it also helps to pack a lunch without all the bags, cling film and rubbish!
The Panino Yumbox is also fantastic to keep portion sizes in check which is something I am rubbish at doing normally for myself and everyone else so this is really handy for me to be able to see what a portion size should be!
I totally love the Yumbox, although price wise it a little over what a standard lunch box price, however mine has been used and abused over the last month, its been dropped scraped, washed 30 + times, been bashed and banged and it’s still looking like new! so for me it’s totally worth its money.
No matter if you’re considering Bento lunches or not this really is a fantastic investment to lunches!
