After eating a gorgeous burger for lunch at The Quarryman’s Tavern we headed over to Zip World Titan. We were all so excited and a little nervous, but with good nerves. You can see by our smiles how we felt, although typical son playing it very cool!.
Charlotte and I couldn’t stop grinning. Helmet hair was the rage that weekend.
We all got the bus up the mountain, sitting on our board seats and then had to wait to have our first Zip World ride.
This first Zip ride, it is amazing and is over in a flash. I was so excited I really didn’t feel nervous at all. Heights don’t worry any of us so that was not an issue it was more trusting the equipment, which once clipped in I felt very safe.
The first ride was so fast, it is a shame in some ways that you don’t get a chance to appreciate the stunning views
After arriving safely after ride 2 we have a walk up to Zip ride 3. See those little red figures in the distance, that is where we are heading…
Here we go, last ride (sad face!)
Every ride is just incredible and we could have done this all day long. 3 rides was not enough for us, we loved the excitement, thrill, adventure and the scenery.
What a truly amazing family adventure. I would thoroughly recommend Zip World for a family day out. I know it is probably not the cheapest activity you can do, but if you have older children it is an absolute must. The experience is one they will never forget, it will stretch them physically and emotionally they will have the most wonderful sense of achievement. An activity that will truly give you a family memory that will last forever. I look back at these pictures and they bring back to life the day for me, truly, truly wonderful activity.
Experience the largest Zip Zone in Europe, with over 8km of zip lines. Zip World Titan is the first of its kind, the only 4 person zip line in Europe, where riders fly down all three zip lines in unison of teams of 4, reaching speeds of up to 70mph over moor, mountain and mine.
The last zip line returns riders back to the start at Llechwedd Slate Caverns, flying high over the buildings as you come in to land.
