Over the last month with my maternity wardrobe well and truly out in force it would be fair to say even with the best will in the world that there were times that fumpy feeling crept in and with my maternity wardrobe still on the feeble front it really was time to up my game!
The boots I had lusted after last month finally made it into my possession after my birthday and I am pleased I did treat myself to the Danville Boots from Hotter Shoes as they are not only beautifully stylish they are super comfy too and with my ankles now taking the strain it makes perfect sense to aim for comfort and style!
The second saviour for me over the last month certainly has been a total shock really as I have been aiming for maternity stores and brands for my clothing but with many not catering for a plus size market I finally ventured into town to see if any of the plus size stores could help with locating firstly a coat to keep me and bump dry and secondly some comfy, casual tops that cover my entire bump for both now and the coming months.
After a morning of shopping I can honestly say I found what I was looking for! with some super reasonably priced tags attached!
The coat I was looking for was a great allrounder that was not too thick as my hormones are running wild at the moment and I am super duper hot all the time! so this one I found at Yours Clothing was fab, fairly lightweight, waterproof and not too thick!
I have purchased the size about what I needed and there is masses of room to grow into it! … Phew! And after baby arrives in February there will be some room to add jumpers in there too!
For tops I have been looking for everyday comfy but also many tops unless you use maternity leave a gapping gap under your bump which not only is annoying but it also is not really nice to look at!
So at the same shop I bought my coat I found some really love tops at the barginous price of 2 tops for £12! With lots of differing styles and lots of colour options in each it was hard to just stop at the 6 tops! they wash really well and fit lovely over my bump too!
I would love to hear what your maternity fashion is, so if you have been writing about what you and bump are wearing why not come and link up with #RockTheBump with myself, Chelle from The Mummington Post and Kerry from All About A Mini Norris.
