As most of my regular readers will know I can often be found taking a jaunt on the train to London .. and sometimes even with Joshua in tow.
However what you wont know is Ollie (hubs) and I have been discussing going as a family for the last 2 years and for what ever reason we had always had other things to prioritise.
So in preparation to our trip we have been looking at ways in which we can do this without it costing the earth, along with making a list of the places we would like to visit.
Places To Visit On Our Trip To London
Hamleys – Joshua and I visited briefly while at and event and Ollie has been hankering after going, so it’s a must!
Tower Bridge Exhibition – The geeky side in me is totally itching to go, with access to see some of the working engine rooms and even glass walkways that have the most spectacular views It certainly would be a Kodak moment … or it would be for everyone else watching me with my fear of heights trying to walk, or should I say belly slide across.
The London Eye – Again not good for my height phobia, however I would have to visit to say I had done it! … I have no doubt Beth would love it since she is great with heights!
Open Top Bus Tour – OK so probably very cliché but we have always wanted to go on one and see as many of the sights as possible!
Our plan is to look on-line at sites like Smartsave in order to get some great discounts on days out by going on-line and booking before the weekend we are due to arrive .. not only will this help save money it will also help us be more organised while there to and anything that can help us do that is in, in my book!
If you have been to London with Children, is there anywhere you can recommend?
