Your tummy aches, your insides develop a pain and lets be honest we tend to hit the internet to find out what awful condition you have and more importantly what you are going to do about it.
The internet comes with mixed results in my previous searches, sometimes spot on and sometimes so horrific I need quarantining for my own safety and that of the entire planet.
But it seems I am not alone in my internet #SearchingSymptoms after a recent survey conducted by LloydsPharmacy’s online Doctor confirmed at least 81% of those asked had also searched online too and 23% of those felt relieved on the advice given.
However, even scarier though are the 20% of people that responded admitted they didn’t trust the results online. Which is totally understandable with the amount of inaccurate sites that seem to have popped up over recent years , so sticking to well known more trusted sites is always a must.
However the internet can be super helpful in preempting what we do need before we get ill however, with a quick search we can find out what preventative measures we need to take for our travels for example from injections to side effects like the Malarone side effects that some people suffer.
Being pre armed before travels is certainly the way to go for us and on booking all of our holidays we seek advice online to ensure we have all the relevant immunisations. Thankfully the last ones I needed were for our trip to Tunisia back in 2015 but with more far flung travels on our much hoped for wish list I will be online searching again to find out what we need to keep us fit and healthy to explore what the country has to offer.
