This lovely bloggers linky was started by the lovely Chelle back in 2014 and from this month forward the lovely Kerry and I will be joining in and supporting Chelle to #RockTheBump and sharing our pregnancy style monthly.
For me maternity clothing has always been a more difficult challenge with my previous pregnancies as I am overweight pre pregnancy so finding plus size maternity clothing has been something I have been quite obsessive over the in the last few weeks.
Currently I am 13 weeks +3 so I don’t have a massive baby bump yet but it’s starting to grow, and although I would love to do the whole bumpie (bump selfie) being overweight before hand means it will take much longer to notice much of a difference between being fat or pregnant, however that is no reason not to be comfortable along the way.
For me I have just moved into ‘comfy’ pants and increased the sizing in my pants … and I have to say the small thing of changing my pants has made a massive difference.
I sent Ollie into the loft just love a week ago and dragged out the half-dozen items of maternity clothing I had in fact saved … then discovered that my total wardrobe saviours of my last pregnancy saviours (Mama’s and Papa’s bootcut over bump jeans) had in fact been sold off in my eBay sell everything phase after Joshua’s birth … its fair to say I was heart-broken!
So in light of my beloved jeans having been long since sold off I have been looking for new Maternity Jeans and I found myself an utter bargain this week and I am awaiting delivery of some classic bootcut over bump maternity jeans from Mothercare … I really am kicking myself at not paying the extra and having then delivered quicker!
I am so excited that I got these beauties for £6.40 in the sale! – although they are an inch or so to long in the leg even paying for the leg length to be altered they will have cost me £16.40 for some super essential jeans to start my maternity wardrobe!
