Over the recent week with monumental changes occurring in our household, with the most upsetting being my Daughter choosing to live with her Father, The Oliver’s are beginning to make fresh starts as my Daughter is we have to look forward not backwards.
No matter how horrible things have been and also to add to canvasses going up our staircase … but how to pick? I am struggling.
For me my photo collection hosts in excess of 43,000 images and trying to whittle that down to just a few is a massive deal!
With so many magical photos to choose from such as our wedding, holidays, day trips and those one-off moments that I just managed to capture in that split second of my family, I am really really struggling to find just a few to have made into canvases at Photobox for the stairs.
It’s almost like I am having to pick the best moments over those that just happened, does the look on my sons face the first time he built a snowman on his own mean less than the professional image taken of him just before his first Christmas? … I am too indecisive at this!
Since I bought a canvas a long while ago it has been on my list of things to sort and now with decorating and fresh starts it finally is the time!
Is it just me that struggles to pick images to display from the memories or do you struggle too? or maybe you have some tips for me … I would display them all if I could just to remember those moments every single day!
So how to choose folks, just professional ones? or do I go with colour only or a mix of black and white and colour?
It’s a good job reminiscing is so enjoyable, I maybe here some time!
