Well, what a weekend!
Finally the summer sunshine has arrived and our back garden has been the source of our family fun.
Jacob has always been a massive water baby so we knew that this summer had to feature a water tray after he loved his water tray play at nursery. We were sent the Step2 Splish Splash Seas water table from Step2 to try out with the boys. Ollie was on hand to put together the water tray and thankfully it wasn’t too complicated to pop to together although Jacob wanted to help which I am sure only hindered the process but at least he was happy.
The Splish Splash Seas Water Table is a great height and Jacob can easily reach everything including the palm tree at its highest point. There are some lovely little features that work well for little fingers, like the hinged bucked for filling up the waterfall. There is a spin the water carousel, slide and carousel and comes with 10 accessory pieces (including 2 people!)
I loved the easy drain plug in the bottom making it easy for emptying the 26.5 litres of water when needed.
The boys have really loved this water tray and have spent hours with it this bank holiday weekend. Joshua (age 7) was also a fan and it was so lovely to watch them both be able to play with the same outdoor toy together. Normally the 5 year age gap can be a bit of a stumbling block where toys are concerned but the Step2 Splish Splash Seas water table ticks the boxes for both boys.
Watching the boys play and use their imaginations was fabulous. The boys also added in some of their other toys and really let their imaginations take over with cars in the palm tree and balls on the slide.
Thanks Step2 for allowing us to put the Splish Splash Seas water table through its paces. The Oliver boys are loving it!
