I can’t help myself, after finding out what my other 2 children were at the earliest opportunity it would be fair to say baby number 3 was going to be identified as soon as possible.
Since finding out on the 5th June that we were expecting again both Ollie and I have been utterly convinced that this time we would be having a girl but were we right?
This morning we ventured to our local Window To The Womb in Nottingham to discover if we were blue or pink onboard this time.
We booked Window To The Womb a few weeks back as they have some really reasonable priced packages for those wanting to find out the gender of the baby they are carrying and also at the same scan you get to also have a sneaky peek at a 4D scan too!
When we got there it was lovely to see lots of images of the babies scanned along with their birth photos and the likeness was totally uncanny!
For us however only being 16 week 5 days we were told that our baby was still a little small for a proper 4D scan yet however they would certainly hope they could see if there were any extras down there or not on baby!
We took bets this morning and Joshua who was with us said he was going to have a brother and both Ollie and I stuck to our guns and guessed a girl
Well it took a good few minutes to finally see what gender we were having since the little pickle was crossing its legs under its bottom! …. It seems Joshua was right! …
As part of the package we had paid for we got to have a sneaky peek at baby in 4D and since it was still a fairly early scan baby at this stage is super skinny but it was so lovely to see how he is developing inside and it seems we have another thumb sucker!
So there you have it our little boy is due 14/2/16.
