Now the title says it all ‘The Fat Bounces Back’ after a really extraordinarily fantastic weight loss during my time with Diet Chef. I then decided to be clever (we all know that never goes well for me)
I gave up smoking … that’s right 5 weeks ago I took the plunge and gave up smoking. Now this is where I have struggled. I have had some really nasty side effects such as dry mouth, food cravings and generally not been the most pleasant to be around, with my vile mood swings.
To top it off this month we have had some pretty stressful occasions, water leaks, new boilers fitted, fireplace issues, redecorating, college assignments and an on going battle with a major car retailer after the car we purchased for Ollie broke down and has been now condemned (having only had it a few weeks) … thats a whole other story in its own right.
So with stress levels at the highest we have had for quite some time it wont come as any surprise that in fact I have put back on 1/2 stone … again!
I have to say though I am not stressing, in the long running giving up smoking is only going to be beneficial in the long run.
So for next week I am going to get down to some serious meal planning and begin to get back into control of my eating again and also I am going to look into the possibility of joining a gym, as at least they are flexible on times and that’s what I need right now.
