It seems that my little man is not going to be little for much longer and at the pace he is growing I am going to blink and he will be leaving home I am sure!
So now he is 9 months old and eating solid foods well, or at least the stage 2 foods (if I am using jars) or lumpy/puree if its home made I think its time to look at moving him forward.
Recently we were sent some of Asda’s Little Angels weaning products to see how we got on with them and what I need to admit to is that I had no idea Little Angels did their own range of weaning foods … I mean absolutely no idea.
We were sent a couple of the stage 2/3 meals and also some of their crisp snacks and I loved how convenient they were but more to the point Jacob loved them! … those snacks went down so well I have to now limit their intake as he would happily eat the whole bag in one sitting! … Needless to say I was grateful since it was a multi pack of 4!
The meals we really simple to heat, with a fork you have to piece the film top and cook in the microwave for 30 seconds and you are ready to feed.
The texture of the food went down well and even with the odd larger bit of potato in there that he would not have eaten before it went down so well he ate the lot!
Over the last couple of weeks we have been trying out some of Asda’s Little Angels sip style cups and even a travel bowl with inbuilt spoon in the lid too and found these to be equally as good with the cup being super sturdy and withstanding at least 10 drops to the floor from the hight chair each mealtime and the bowl is super as rubber rim on the bottom can be removed or added depending upon who is feeding (Jacob likes to chew that bit)
The lid of the bowl is super and great for clearing up after meals out as I tend to dump all the rubbish and wipes in there so I can clean up at home and with a secure lid it means no mess in the bottom of my bag either.
Since trying out some of the Little Angels range I have bought several other pieces of weaning cutlery and bowls and another new beaker.
The food however has been the biggest hit and its now a regular feature on my shopping list.
Thanks for letting us try some bits out Little Angels
