Tommee Tippee has long since been one of our favourite baby brands and recently they have had my back again with the Sangenic Tec Nappy Disposal System. The refreshed Sangenic Tec was launched alongside Changing Times, a campaign which explores the highs and lows of the transition into parenthood and has been sent for us to try out at home to see how it helped keeping the smelly nappy whiffs at bay.
To be honest from the off I had always through nappy bins were unwarranted and expensive for somewhere to shove the used nappies but I am thrilled to say that at £10 (on offer at Asda currently) the Tommee Tippee Sangenic Tec Nappy Disposal System is actually more than reasonable but why did I love it?
The innovative Sangenic Tec nappy disposal system offers anti-bacterial protection from germs and odours by sealing each nappy with a simple twist. Once the nappy is popped in you literally just spin the handle to seal in the nappy and the lid pushes the nappy down to allow for the next nappy to be popped in.
The bin holds 28 nappies (depending upon size) and the cassette wraps approximately 66 nappies in a more hygienic and oder destroying way than chucking them in the kitchen bin which we were doing until now or having to brave the rain to take the smelly ones to the outside bin.
I have to say I am thrilled I am no longer getting wet nor am I having to smell the awful kitchen bin so this seemed like a perfect solution and I am kicking myself we hadn’t tried it earlier.
There are 4 available colours: Cotton White, Raindrop Blue, Powder Pink and Urban Grey. We popped ours in the downstairs toilet to keep it clear of little fingers.
The replacement bag cartridges are easy to replace and keep everything all sealed inside which is great news at keeping the whiffs at bay which is great news for every household not just mine.
Thanks Tommee Tippee for clearing the kitchen bin stench and allowing my house to smell sweeter.
