The kids can be a particularly hard lot to satisfy when it comes to outdoor fun however camping affords an excellent opportunity for the whole family and over the last 2 years we have certainly been getting in on the action. I am certainly not alone in getting the kids outside and camping and so many of my friends are also avid campers so to help us plan some destinations for next year I have been asking them for recommendations of their top child friendly destinations and here they are!

Particularly active kids with more than enough energy to spare will find the Harrisons Rocks challenging enough while there are also a plethora of other fun-filled activities to participate in such as cycling, walking and, courtesy of the nearby Bewl Water Outdoor Center, invigorating water sports. Mother Nature is also on beautiful display across campsites cast gracefully against the backdrop of a calming water body while endearing wildlife is on show at a deer park on the 300-acre country estate.
