Over the last 4 years my life has gone off on a tangent I had no idea existed.
I started blogging to share my views and to find a voice, instead that has escalated into an online business that has given me not only a voice but the means to provide for my family and give them some amazing experiences that money cant buy.
It has been a really hard journey to build my little piece of the internet and I am sure it will continue to take hard work and determination but for me its been totally worth it.
My journey back into working is on the horizon after taking some time out after Jacob was born and so we made the decision to finally give The Oliver’s Madhouse a base and an office of its own.
Somewhere to work from without the children’s noise and distraction.
A space that means I can store my printer and products and I am able to shut the door on it all when I need to separate work life and family life.
Over the last few weeks I have taken control back of my spare 4th bedroom and finally got an office space that gives me everything I need although deciding on what was going to do with regards to interior and flooring was an issue after all it’s not like commercial flooring or commercial furniture were needed on this occasion.
For the first time in 4 years its nice to be able to start implementing a home and work life balance and its nice being able to shut off from my blog for some family time.
Who knew just where we would be 4 years ago but I for one am so very glad this blog is around to document our lives and it now gives me the flexibility of working from home even if I seem to put in twice as many hours.
Heres a big *High Five* to all those that work from home too.
