Five weeks into this lifestyle change and I can finally admit that I am loving the changes.
I have been swapping 2 meals a day for XLS Medicals nutritional shakes and the one nutritionally balanced meal for the remaining meal of the day for 5 weeks now.
This week I have felt more content with life and settled into a nice routine. Before I have always felt like was being deprived of some of my favourite foods. By having 2 shakes a day and a fully balanced meal means I have been able to eat some of my favourite foods as long I add them into my daily calories allowance.
Although weight loss wise I was a little disappointed this week to have dropped down to 15stone 8.8lbs it means my overall weight loss has been 1 stone 4.2lbs so far. Which although I was disappointed with when I first weighed in I have to admit that in a 6 week stretch really is amazing.
This week new pants have been the order of the day. My clothes are really starting to hang loose, which has been wonderful but I really cant wait till all my wardrobe of clothing needs to replacing and for the first time I actually feel like this might be on the horizon in a few months time!
Shake wise I have decided that the chocolate and strawberry are my way forward and have totally gone off the vanilla so it’s off the menu for a while.
This week has probably been my hardest to date with balancing foods as we are at that stage in the month that payday is a little further away and we are trying to use up what foods we have currently without having to do a big shop so I really do need to find ways of better organising my menu plans, maybe even making meals from scratch and batch cooking them and freezing them so I have them to hand when the end of the month slump looms close.
