The A to Z of Me

Recently I was tagged in this rather super MeMe by the lovely Kara from Chelsea Mamma  and I have now been challenged to continue to shell out some more information about me:

The A to Z of Me The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseA

Active Family – Is the monthly linky that I host about being physically active, be it your children, your aunt or your whole family, inside or out, walking, running, jumping, biking, at the gym, or running laps of the living room, or even something more adventurous

The A to Z of Me The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseB

Blogging – I have been blogging for just over a year and it’s been the most amazing journey!

C

Christmas – I have wrapped and tagged 99% of all of our Christmas presents before September each year.

D

Dads – I no longer see my biological Dad, but I do have the most amazing Step Dad in the world, he is supportive and loyal and love him dearly

E

Edwinstowe – Is the village in which I grew up in, for those of you that have not heard of it before, Edwinstowe is the village in which Sherwood Forest (Robin Hood) is found

The A to Z of Me The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseF

Friends – I don’t have a massive group of friends. When I was younger I did have more quantity than quality, these days I have a far more selected group of amazing friends

G

Glasses – I am in fact a glasses wearer although you will very rarely be able to find a photo of me in glasses!

H

Hockey – After being a massive hockey player in my teens after a 17 year break I returned last year to play.

The A to Z of Me The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseI

I am a Twin – I am a twin and I have a lovely sister called Katie who is 4 ½ minutes older than me.

J

Jampot – My nickname as a child

K

Kite – I have never flown a kite in my life and I really need to have a go!!

L

The A to Z of Me The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseLearning – I am an avid learner and every year or so I have the urge to go back and learn more. The last course I completed was the extensive CIPD in Human Resources, this year I have returned to complete an ILM in Leadership and Management.

M

Meat gloves – I wear bags on my hands when touching raw meat, these are my cooking saviour!

N

Noisy/Nasty Neighbours – We are surrounded by nasty, noisy neighbours that drive us insane on a daily basis.

O

Ollie – Is my Hubby’s Marks nickname that stuck from Childhood

P

Pushchairs – I have had about 15 different prams/pushchairs since Joshua was born in 2011. I have been very lucky to work with Maxi-Cosi reviewing their pushchairs ‘Loola’ and ‘Noa’

Q

Queues – Make me feel sick, I really suffer with anxiety in busy shopping environments so I tend to be a massive on line shopper instead.

R

The A to Z of Me The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseRelationships – One of the relationships that has been paramount over the last year has been Bethany’s relationship with us and with herself. She is now fully into the hormone/teen stage and is suffering for it. We are hoping with support we can weather the storms and come out the other side.

S

Shit – OK I would of preferred to say poo .. However I am struggling here!! Either way you say it the stuff is one of my biggest bones of contention.

T

Travel – In the last 12 months we have been amazingly lucky to travel to some super yet varied locations: Whitby, Matlock Bath, Corsica and Menorca

U

UGG Boots– – HATE HATE HATE, I have tried to like them, however I have yet to find a pair that I think looks supportive.

V

Value – I am an absolute bargain hunter and I demand value for money with everything thing I buy. I spend a lot of time while internet shopping finding the best value for money products before I buy

The A to Z of Me The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse W

Wedding – Our wedding was a small but select affair when we chose to elope to Whitby to Marry in June 2012

X

Xylophone – Although I can’t play one, I can play a euphonium!

Y

Yorkshire – Is where my husband’s family is from and where there is still such a large number of them located.

Z

Zodiac – Virgo

Now to tag some others lovelies to find out what their A to Z will be!

Chantelle MamaMummyMum

Suzanne 3 Children and It

Carolynne Mummy Endeavours

Ooh I didn’t know you were a twin. Just seen all your trips – I definitely need to make a proper trip to Matlock Bath, I only manage flying visits at the moment.

Ok, uggs. I don’t like the soft slouchy kind either – I never could get on with them because I have weak ankles and often twist or sprain them. I too wanted to like uggs but couldn’t – until last christmas when the hubby bought me these –

They are a tad expensive but they are THE most amazing boots I have ever worn. They’re comfy, warm and stylish. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. Well worth the money. I think they will last and I will wear them until they fall off my feet!
