GO Outdoors In Nottingham This Winter!

GO Outdoors In Nottingham This Winter! The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseIf you are a regular reader here on my little blog you will be well aware of my love of getting outside and what is even better is going out as a family!

Autumn and winter is my favourite time of the year as a lung full of crisp cold air clears just about everything out your system, plus who wants to sweat and explore when its hot anyway!

This year we have set ourselves a target as a family to get out and about more than ever and for that we need to get kitted out.

Thankfully GO Outdoors have come to our rescue as we have a big shiny new store opening up mere minutes from our house on 5th November!

Needless to say with our nearest store in Loughborough its nice that Nottinghamshire has been recognised for its outdoor spaces and forests and I personally think its been a long time coming … but maybe I am biased since I love what we have on offer here in this county.

So what will people be seeing in the 35,000 square feet of GO Outdoors 60th store?

Well, excitingly there will be a large bike and tent sections and even a cycle repair section and also dedicated areas for products relating to walking, skiing, running, riding, fishing and climbing and not to forget even caravanning!

We have been super lucky to have been sent a few items from GO Outdoors range to start getting ready for our winter walking adventures and here’s what we thought….

Regatta Brodiaea Women’s Waterproof Jacket
I fell in love with the Regatta Brodiaea Jacket at first sight on the website and the reason is the stylish more tailored look and the fact is has no faff to either, not toggles and only the necessities!

When it arrived I was so not disappointed! Its outer material makes it easy to move in and gives the look of a wax jacket without the weight. This coat retails at £75 but with a GO Outdoors discount card it comes in at a rather impressive £40 and don’t worry if you don’t have a discount card its simple to rectify as you pay £5 for your card for the year and when used with any purchase.

Regatta Men’s Backmore 3-in-1 Jacket
The Regatta Men’s Backmore Jacket was sent through for Ollie and I immediately loved its colour, I think the pictures online don’t do it justice either as its far nicer in real life.

With this coat being a 3 in 1 style jacket you can removed the inner fleece jacket all together and it’s really easy to pop out and back in again. It also has really sturdy zips and seams which we have become accustomed to with Regatta products.

This coat retails at £100 but with the GO Outdoors scout card you can buy it for £60.

The Edge Kids Viking Hat
Joshua won’t wear beanie or bobble hats he loves novelty hats and this superb Viking hat is truly adorable with its chunky knit, lined inner and striking plaits!

Joshua loved it quirky design and at £6 with the GO Outdoors discount car it won’t break the bank either.

All in all we loved the product sent over from GO Outdoors and we cant wait to see the new store that is opening in Arnold in Nottingham on 5th!
