Graco Metro Pushchair Review

Graco Metro Pushchair Review The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseOK I know most of my regular readers will be aware of the fact that I am in fact a pushchair whore and although Joshua is getting bigger I now have the luxury of being able to look after my goddaughter when I need pushchair fixes and so when we were asked to take a look at the new Graco Metro we jumped at the chance as with my partner in pushchair crime (my goddaughter mother) we have been using the pushchair between us to give us a broader view of what works and what doesn’t, although in fairness Both Stacey and I have come up with pretty much all the same thoughts over this new addition to the Graco family.

So if you have yet to have come across this rather stylish looking pushchair it’s an Exclusive to Mothercare and currently retail at £229.99 its suitable from birth to 3 years and can be used as a travel system by adding the compatible Graco Snugfix.

Firstly I have to say it was super easy to assemble and we actually had it assemble in about 5 minutes even with 2 excited helpers!

We were also both shocked at just how lightweight this pushchair was, it looks really chunky but yet it is very very lightweight to pick up and place in the boot of the car and its easy to get up and down kerbs, which is down to the light weight aluminium frame.

Over the last few weeks between us we have amassed an enormous amount of miles using this beautiful pushchair and have really slotted its use into everyday life with trips to farm parks, shopping (both food and leisure) woodland walks, park trips and family days out this pushchair has proven several things I thought already but it only has gone on to confirm it … The shopping basket is amazingly user-friendly! It holds the nappy bag, handbag, drinks, rain cover and even the light weight jackets that are essentials when day tripping in the UK!

Both Stacey and I loved the compact one-handed fold which made it super easy to use when trying to keep one hand on a toddler and load the pushchair in and out the car or off and on a bus!

We both loved the removable seat pad too … although it maybe simple in concept the fact it has one which made leakages of drinks a far easier issue to deal with!

The Graco Metro comes with puncture free tyres and the multi position c and adjustable calf support that I would expect as standard really these days but it was nice to see the recline has a lie flat option as not all pushchairs do have this feature these days! The only slight negativity is I personally am not a fan of toggle recline mechanisms, Stacey was not that concerned so again this really was my personal thought.

The one thing both Stacey and I agreed in terms of any negative was the size of the hood … its bigger than a buggy hood but not as big as some pram hoods and  for us it would have been lovely to have had another hoop of hood on there to give maximum shade coverage … that being said it would not put me off this pushchair it really would be a bonus on an already lovely pushchair.

The stylish colour scheme and ease of use for us was a winner and for us!
