Knightsbridge: What To See and Where to Visit The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseSo many people choose to visit the main attractions of London but occasionally you will find the odd tourist who wants to find the more obscure landmarks and things to do, heading out to other areas of the capital city.

One such interesting place is Knightsbridge – did you know that there is plenty to see and do in this part of London? Some places may be very recognisable to you but there are also some interesting gems that you may not have thought of too!

Victoria & Albert Museum
A very well-known museum, of course, and definitely somewhere people should visit at least once in their lives. It is the world’s greatest museum of art and design and the collections are diverse and cultural. Admission is free so this is a great place to visit if you are wanting to educate your children a little more when it comes to art.

Go shopping at Harrods
Probably the most iconic shop in London, everyone wants to visit the shop and have a walk around. There is so much to take a look at in the store – why wouldn’t you want to visit if you are in the area?

Enjoy a stylish hotel stay
If you are wanting to explore Knightsbridge in more detail and have more time to check everything out, then consider a stay at the Park Grand London Kensington. This boutique hotel is unique and such a lovely place to stay. They offer a fresh full English breakfast, free WiFi during your stay, a complimentary smartphone for your stay which includes free calls to selected countries and unlimited 3G data and a stylish and relaxing Club Lounge space for Club Room guests. If you want a blissful hotel stay, this surely is the place to go.

If you aren’t interested in staying overnight, the hotel also offers delicious dishes for lunch or dinner or even afternoon tea if that is what you are looking for.

Marvel at the London Oratory
Churches are absolutely beautiful buildings and the London Oratory is home to a community of priests living under the rule of life established by its founder in the sixteenth century. There are various different mass and confession times, various groups and music is sometimes performed here too. It sounds like a lovely place.

Hyde Park is the place to go
Located very close to Knightsbridge is the royal park that is Hyde Park. It is a Grade I listed major park in London. It covers 142 hectares (which is about 350 acres) with over 4000 trees, a large lake and much, much more. It is such a lovely place to visit on a day to day basis and also holds amazing events such as BST Hyde Park. It is somewhere you should definitely check out if exploring London.

These are just a handful of places you could visit whilst in the Knightsbridge area. Do you know of any other great places that are worth visiting? The more obscure the better, I’d love to find out new places to check out.
