Why I Am Supporting Tommy’s Splashathon 2019 #AD

Did you know that each and every single year 1 in 4 women lose a baby either during pregnancy or birth. This horrific statistic is beyond devastating to the whole family and it affects families all over the UK. It is not isolated to one location and often there is no warning this will happen.

Joining Forces 

This year Tommy’s and Water Babies are going forces to try and reduce this 1 in 4 statistic by raising over £1 million and for ever £1 that is raised going towards helping save the lives of these little lives.

Splashathon 2019

To join in with the Splashathon, mums, dads and babies who are already signed up to Water Babies classes are invited to attend for a special fundraising, Peppa Pig pirate and princesses themed class.

The little ones will be encouraged to dress up, and there will be lots of water-based fun, including a challenge to swim a width.

Don’t worry if you aren’t already signed up to classes with Water Babies  you can still join in by taking your family for a splash together and donate over at the Splashathon fundraising page.

There’s lots and lots of ways to take part and  join in to raise the £1 million that is going to be used to research our teeniest tiny family members.
