Discovering Playstation At Their Family Event

Discovering Playstation At Their Family Event The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThis weekend I had the pleasure of taking Joshua to an event in London to discover all about PlayStation.

I have to be honest however and say it was all new to me as I last owned a Playstation in the 90’s with their very first PlayStation console.

Games technology and consoles tend to be so fast paced that I often get confused with what is out and what systems do what so it was amazing to get some hands on info on what PlayStation has to offer for our family and done in a way that is not overwhelming but by just having fun and playing!

When we arrived at the event it was so well thought out with lots do besides gaming with cake decorating, crafting and even a shot of crazy golf!

However for Joshua and I it was really about finding out how the console works and what games we would love as a family.

I really really loved how much more interactive and inclusive the new PlayLink feature is on the PlayStation 4, family or francs can all join in using mobile handsets as controllers like in their That’s You game that Joshua thought was hilarious! I actually wish Ollie had been with us as this questions and answers type game is so what our Saturday nights should be about opposed to watching x-factor. They also had Frantic and Knowledge is Power showcasing and I honestly think it needs to be our new Saturday nights!

Discovering Playstation At Their Family Event The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseI got excited from across the room spotting the newest game from Crash Bandicoot, which was one of my favourite games in the last 90’s. Although this version obviously have far better graphics and lots more features for play than the old one seemed to have. I could certainly find myself getting lost in this game for many hours!

Next on our list to try was Fifa18 which Ollie has been secretly (or not so in his case) been hankering after for some time. Although we are currently without a PlayStation console it was on his list of when we finally get one that’s the game I want list!

Joshua and I played for the same side and with an epic loss of 6-0 we seriously need to play against each other next time as we need practice.

The favourite game for Joshua was the new LEGO Ninjago Movie game. Based on the film that’s currently this wonderful game is all-inclusive for young and old alike.

Joshua got immensely good at navigating around, building and collecting piece  to complete the tasks in the game with ease. I personally loved how even though it is a “game” you certainly get your brain working trying solve puzzles and build things along the way.

I have to be honest not having a PlayStation currently we have started looking online at purchasing one. Maybe on Black Friday as I think the idea of family gaming is something that we could certainly do as a family and independently.

We as a family are fully behind gaming as a family and are trying to encourage this over our Matthew sitting on his own on an iPad for hours at a time. Not only is this more sociable and enjoyable as a family – the games you can play on consoles are a lot more advanced so ultimately a much more fun to play.

Just be careful not too be conned into buying a single player game such as Lego Jurassic World !

I am glad you enjoyed the Playstation – it has been such a big part of our lives for such a long time now – and it really is family friendly. And the photos were a pleasure x
