A little while back we were asked if Joshua would be interested in taking a look at the new Mega Bloks First Builders Block Picking Wagon and I have to say I was rather excited!
My little guy has loved building with any blocks he can get his hands on which is great for his fine motor skills but not so great on passing feet! … Picking up bricks is not quite as fun as building with them so something that not only picks them up but stores them too is certainly worth a closer look in my eyes.
When it arrived I loved that it was a really sturdy size and still more than usable for Joshua who is 4 going on 5 which is the older age for range the wagon is aimed at.
Joshua is somewhat obsessed with the fact it picks up blocks and to start with he was slightly manic with them running up and down somewhat erratically but running meant the wagon didn’t stand a chance at picking up the blocks so we had to show him how walking normally meant that the wagon did the hard work and he saved himself a job!
Needless to say he was chuffed to bits at having something fun to do one of the jobs he hates most (tidying up!)

Since receiving the wagon he has played with it everyday and with what I would say is a reasonably priced toy (approx £34.99) and having a brick building master I wish we had been able to use this more as he was growing!
If you have yet to discover if your little one is a building lover, fear not this wagon does come with 20 blocks to start your little one off too!
