A Review Of The LeapFrog LeapPad Ultimate

A Review Of The LeapFrog LeapPad Ultimate The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseOver the years we have had the pleasure of trying out many LeapFrog toys with Joshua but with 5 years age difference between the boys there is undoubtedly changes in what toys brands have on offer.

We had the pleasure recently of getting our hands on the LeapFrog LeapPad Ultimate tablet. It has been around for a few years now but with a new model we were eager to see how the kids got on with it.

I had been looking for some form of tablet for Jacob (2.5 years) that could withstand the rough and tumble of life with kids and that can be locked down so no sites or apps can be loaded to the tablet without me being in control.

Jacob has shown a really keen interest in tablets of late with all of us in the house owning one he wants one too but having given him one to use it was clear he wasn’t ready for it and the tablet certainly wasn’t ready for him.

When the LeapFrog LeapPad Ultimate arrived and I started to read about it’s nitty gritty I loved the concept. It is deigned to be fun but keep kids safe online and comes with a 7inch screen and 15 educator approved apps preinstalled on there straight out the box.

Having had a LeapPad tablet for Joshua a few years ago I was thrilled to find out that in fact all his content could be used for multiple children and I created Jacob his own profile then turned on the Ultimate and logged him into the tablet and it started downloading the content I had agreed with on my parent account.

Now I am not sure I should be so honest about this but … I am so thrilled that I have been able to share the pre bought content from a few years back. It means no more stressing over lost games cartridges and all content is nice and safe and ready to use and it was easily downloadable to any LeapPad tablet.

A Review Of The LeapFrog LeapPad Ultimate The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThe Ultimate is a great size and comes with cameras front and back that take photos and also record video

The range of online apps that you can buy and download is vast and with them all being age appropriate its super easy to find what is relevant to your child.

Jacob has loved playing with his new tablet and I am thrilled to finally have found something that is designed to give him the real world device (its not a toy) and be fun and educational all the while keeping my peace of mind in check that he is safe while using it.
