Recently we were asked if we would like to review the new offerings from Fisher Price, the New Monsters range and I jumped at the chance.
As a general we adore Fisher Price toys so finding new ones that will help keep Jacob (aged 1) entertained is always great.
The new monsters range consists of 3 products all aimed at 6+ months in age and all very reasonably priced so here are my thoughts.
Fun Feelings Monster
He is beautifully bright and was the first of the three that Jacob played with. He has a large roller face that has 3 different expressions on; happy, sad and surprised and as you roll the face to an expression it plays a super cute sound, which Jacob managed to do easily. Although be warned if your little one likes it as much as Jacob the music can be slightly annoying with only one sound volume.
The Fun Feelings Monster has an RRP of £14.99 and comes with batteries all ready included.
Press n’ Go Monster Vehicle
The Press n’ Go Monster Vehicles are a really great size and come in several colours too.
Jacob found it really easy to make his wheels go by easily pressing his head and watching him tear off across the living room. It is far more speedy on the tiles in the kitchen than on the carpet on the living room so beware if you have non carpeted floors it is going to be lots of fun.
The string style hair is another massive hit for Jacob and he has been chewing on it relentlessly making the RRP of £12.99 for the Press n’ Go Monster vehicle another hit in our house.
Hungry Monster Maze
This was my personal favourite toy out of the 3 that were sent. The brightly coloured counter like discs are posted one of 2 ways into the Monster Maze to feed him and it plays a lovely little tune.
It’s a really nice size and the discs were easy to pick up even by the smallest of fingers which is great as its aimed from 6+ months. The Hungry Monster Maze retails at £19.99 and for me it would make a wonderful addition to the toy box even for slightly older ones too as Jacob is 1 and he has loved it.
Ooh I like these, they’re so bright and vibrant and I love the faces on them! Lily would have adored these when she was a little bit younger, I’ll have to bear them in mind should we be lucky enough to have baby #2 anytime soon! xx
