*Advertorial Feature With Disney+*
Well, hasn’t 2020 been *cough cough* interesting so far!
In fact I can quite honestly say it has been a roller coaster and one If I am honest I do not want to repeat.
What I am going to take away from this year however if just how important spending time as a family actually is. When anxiety is high sitting together and talking, holding hands and snuggling on the sofa has fixed most issues and what it hasn’t fixed its helped star the healing process.
The official school holidays are upon us and I am approaching this school holidays the same way I have tackled the attempted home schooling and family time so far. I am going to take the foot of the gas and spend my time with the kids. Just enjoying our time together and for us that includes spending time in front of the TV.
We generally are a fairly active family and love nothing more than a route march discovering new outside spaces. But we equally love a good afternoon curled up on the sofa watching a fantastic movie or enthralling series all together.
With the help of Disney+ we are going to work our way through some amazingly epic movies and shows and for an extra bonus we are going to be taking part in some of the extra activities that can be tied into our Disney+ viewing that we found on the Radio Times dedicated page for Disney+ with board games and activities of all ages.
The kids are planning their viewing one week at a time with Jacob’s choice taking the lead. Joshua is taking over the decision making this coming week and hubs and I are getting a double whammy of viewing as we are watching with the kids and then on our own when the kids are in bed!
So with a list as long as our arms we are heading into family time with some TV viewing, snacks and nothing but love at the bonus amount of extra family time we have been lucky to have throughout this lockdown and moving into our new normal.
Watch this space for the next phase of our new normal and to see what we get up to.
