Birmingham Blog Camp Does It Again!

Birmingham Blog Camp Does It Again! The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseFor me being a full time blogger can mean I spend days without having anyone to converse with physically along with being a rather sociable soul I have to say is the hardest part of the working from home and it’s driven me a little bit nuts .. *cough cough* not that I wasn’t a little anyway!

So at the slightest whisper of a blog conference or get together I am itching to get my ticket and to enjoy being surrounded by bloggers and influences to chat with, learn from and to relax knowing that in fact what I do does not involve FREEBIE’s of any description and the people around me know that too …

No seriously one day I may just blog about the whole ethos of freebies … The hours I work investing in my platform and internet space means I did not get the item for free …whoa .. best stop there its a whole other story.

My first ever blog conference nearly 3 years ago was the Birmingham Blog Camp which is run by Tots100 and since this was my third attendance I can certainly say that not only have they all varied but they have also covered a wide range of topics and given me invaluable information that has helped me and my blog on its way.

Last weekend I travelled with the lovely Zena from Zena’s Suitcase to what promised to be another fantastic event and true to form it certainly was as I attended some amazing workshops like; Pro Blogging with Penny from Parent Shaped and Becky from Baby Budgeting, How to take great product shots with Phil Tragen, So you want to be a vlogger with Sian from You’re Not From Around Here and Sally from Who’s The Mummy followed up with an interesting workshop with Vicky from Honest Mum and rounded off with a great working with brands panel debate.

What I totally love about Blog Camp is the laid back atmosphere and cheerful stress free faces of those attending.

I got to catch up with some friends, such as Sarah from Mum of Three World and Emma from Crazy With Twins to name a few (mind you if I listed them all I could be here all day) and as ever this event sparked my creative juices once more .. now I just need to give up my final 6 hours sleep per day night to get it all done!

Thanks Tots100 for another super event!
