Christmas is a busy time for everyone, but especially those gifted in the kitchen. They’ve got a food shop to navigate, meals to plan and treats to bake. It’s safe to say that your baker friends are going to be spending a lot of time in the kitchen around this time of year. While they’re busy making treats for everyone else, why not think of something you can treat them? There’s so many present ideas for your baker friends, here are just a few to get your creative juices flowing.
Recipe Notebook
For your budding baker friend, why not get them a recipe notebook so they have a place to store all their great ideas? It gives them a reason to experiment in the kitchen and log their favourite creations. Not only can it be good for them, but it also means they can get their favourite recipes from other people. It can be a project of love, and could be used for years to come. Not to mention you might get cake out of it, which is always a plus.
Themed Recipe Books
Why not think outside the box when it comes to recipe books? You could combine two of their hobbies and get them a themed recipe book. For instance, if they love Harry Potter you could get them a book of recipes inspired by the Potter universe. You’d be amazed at the sheer number of recipe books which are inspired by pop culture. There’s bound to be one that matches your friends interest.
Apron
Make your friend feel like the Star Baker they are by getting them their very own personalised apron. You can add their name, a message or a photo. You can make it sentimental or funny, obviously depending on the friend the apron is intended for.
Bake in a Jar
You may want to share a recipe you love with your friend. Rather than just writing it down, you could get creative with how you present it to them. You can get the ingredients, a recipe and place the two in a jar for your friend to try. You could share one of your favourite treats with your friend, whether it’s festive-themed or one of your go-to recipes is entirely up to you. If you’re looking for a little inspiration, you could have a read of this great range of recipes.
