Dear Jacob, Now You Are 3

Dear Jacob, Now You Are 3 The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseDear Jacob,

Today you turn three, and I have no idea where the time has gone.

The day you arrived you honestly turned my world upside down. You looked up at me and I knew you had been here before and you were going to keep me on my toes and boy I wasn’t wrong.

You have a fire in your eyes and a roar in your personality that this year has been unquenchable. Your determination level is through the roof and your fiery little personality is totally endearing and frustrating in equal measure.

Last year you barely said 2 words, oh how that year has changed now. There is no shutting you up. You will chat and wave to everyone and love nothing more than telling the postman to come in so you can chew his ear off about what you are playing with prior to his arrival. Although you draw the line at going with him as he offers every time and you run off and hide.

You new big boy character is a joy to watch develop, although knowing your own mind as you do causes some epic battles and frustrations at meal times … if it aint pasta you really aren’t fussed.

Watching you play with your older brother is something to be proud of. You follow him round and boss him about and he just lets you. However you are the only one thats allowed to boss your brother about and you will tackle any other child in soft play that dares to upset him.

You seemed to have changed so much in the last 6 months and your speech really is coming on so well. You say the most funny things and often we have no idea where you even get the phrase or words from.

Although I don’t want time to speed past I am eager to sit and watch how you grow this year. You have moved into the Pre School at nursery and I know you are going to grow massively this year.

Happy Birthday my fiercely determined little guy.

Love

Mummy
