Discovering Events In London

Discovering Events In London The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseI am not going to claim I know lots about London. In fact this post is probably about the fact I am just discovering it.

Around 18 months ago I made the journey into London for the first time as an adult and only the second time in my life. I was only 10 the first time and I was in the London. I was dragged round the capital with 30 of my classmates. The teachers were harassed and if I am honest it was not really conducive to developing an understanding of what it had to offer. In fact it has only planted that seed of apprehension further into my head as I grew!

So after having my first adult visit to the capital for Britmums Live last year and the epic incident with a broken suitcase. Too much underground to get through in a short space of time. Along with the fear of my pants trailing behind in my wake was still not enough to put me off trying to reeducate my tastes with what London has to offer.

Discovering Events In London The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseI am far more organised when I travel now. And even pre select my seats on the train … it really does help to calm my nerves.

In order to be more in control of myself when I am feeling somewhat anxious. I try to find out as much about the area I am traveling to. Including what venues there are and what events are on nearby.

I was made particularly more aware of this when I attended the recent Amazon Event in what looked like a coffee shop. But as it turned out the coffee shop was so much more than that. As it transformed into a bar at night and held private events!

With more blogging events coming up and a trip with my husband to plan for. I have been doing my homework. And I have being looking at hotels around where I need to be, so I don’t have to do the late night train. While looking at local hotels it seems that some hotels have more than just the hotel.

Discovering Events In London The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseLots of hotels in the capital have many other things on offer so its worth doing your homework.

With this knowledge I am now planning my first trip to London with Ollie (my husband) later in the year. I maybe able to find us a fab place to stay that has more than most to offer!
