Finding My Key Winter Wardrobe Essential Perfect For All Occasions!

As a plus sized woman, I can sometimes find it difficult to find weather appropriate clothes that fit me well. It can be a constant struggle to find an item of clothing that is not only seasonally appropriate but that I also like and that fit me.

This is why I love Pink Clove. They are a fairly recent discovery of mine but one that I am sure I will keep going back to. They have a wide range of plus size clothing for all types of occasions and so many different lovely designs So finding my key winter wardrobe essential that has been perfect for all occasions has been easy.

With the winter being as bitterly cold as it has been, it has been a little tough keeping warm. I’ve been perusing the their website for the perfect item and came across this women’s cardigan in Forest Green. I don’t always feel too comfortable in bulky sweaters or hoodies but can’t go around being cold so a cardigan seems like the perfect alternative. This one looks super cosy and warm and pockets which I love. The button fastening is also great as it means I can unbutton it if I get a little too warm rather than having to take the whole thing off – a problem with jumpers, I find.

The colour is also a big plus point for me. Whilst I do love some bright colours when it comes to clothing, I like cardigans such as this that I will be wearing everyday to be fairly neutral in colour. This forest green is a gorgeous colour and is perfect as it works well with anything; from a casual day at home to a day in the office to a trip into the city for an event. It is a great item for the wardrobe as it is so multi functional.

I don’t know about you either but I resent putting the heating on if I can help it and often snuggle up on the sofa with a cosy cardigan on under a blanket. This looks like the perfect cardigan for such an occasion, don’t you think?

For me a well fitting comfortable cardigan is a key item in any wardrobe and in fact I would go so far as to say its an essential item. 

Other Key Woolies I Love Using In The Winter

Scarves, are one of my other key pieces as they can be used inside and out for an outfit and are so easy to wear! Another of my faves is thick knitted woollen tights. I love these with loose and baggy denim pinafore dresses and some low heeled knee boots!
