Fun, Funky, Sustainable Baby Products That Work From Munchkin The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse

If you follow me on social media you might have spotted that last month I was Germany bound as I headed offer to Kind & Jugund show in Cologne

Kind & Jugund is the international trade show for premium baby and toddler products that features 1,200 brands and companies from over 50 countries displaying some of their most loved products and their new offerings for buyers across the globe to visit and order for stores, shops and online retailers worldwide for the coming year.

I have been to Kind & Jugund beforewhile pregnant with Jacob 3 years ago and I loved it, the buzz the excitement, and getting my hands on real products that will change the baby and toddler arena in real life before they are on the market here in the UK is super exciting!

This year I was super kindly invited to Kind & Jugund by one of the funnest baby product brands around, Munchkin.

Munchkin develop clever, innovative solutions that make family life safer, easier, and more fun and are the makers of our much-loved Miracle 360 Sippy cups that have been my parenting go to cup since starting our weaning journey with both boys! Munchkin also sent me one of my first review products 5 years ago!  (You can read it here, however please bare in mind I had been blogging less than a year and was just starting out so image quality is at best *cough cough* interesting)

My journey to Germany was a nice plane sailing one, although for the first time ever I travelled completely alone … and that was epic!

I stayed over in a local hotel in Dusseldorf where I landed and then met up with my lovely blogging chum Sara-Jayne from Keep Up With The Jones Family for breakfast before heading over to Cologne to meet the team behind Munchkin and discover what was new for the brand this year.

Fun, Funky, Sustainable Baby Products That Work From Munchkin The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseFirst on the list of products that for me is certainly worth mentioning is the Miracle 360 cup, there are 2 areas that have been developed with this revolutionary cup, the first is that it’s not just for babies. Yes, thats right this beauty has given us adults and bigger kids a version too! With the help of interchangeable lids the toddler sips cup can become a straw cup too allowing you to reuse your main cup unit! … Next was the adult version of the cup that is ideal for bedsides and gyms everywhere and I have to say I want to swap every cup in the house for it!

The final big announcement for the Miracle 360 cup is the brand-new Conservation Cups, featuring fun designs of animals currently endangered or under threat including the African Elephant, Polar Bear, Red Fox and Orca. The cups are in partnership with International Fund For Animal Welfare(IFAW) and come complete with child-friendly stories and information about each of the featured animals, including key facts about the conservation challenges these animals face. Through the introduction of these Conservation Cups, Munchkin hopes to inspire conversations amongst families about the importance of protecting animals and preserving natural habitats.

Which I think is amazing. Our children are the future so capturing their imaginations at a young age is crucial and I adore the idea of introducing these animals onto the cups

While at the trade show we had the chance to talk to Munchkin CEO, Steve Dunn, and Chief Brand Officer/Creative Director, known as “db”,  respectively and it was amazing to chat with them and discover what makes the brand tick behind the scenes. One thing that really stood out for me is how passionate they are about ensuring all their products have a minimum review level of 4 out of 5 stars. They explained that for Munchkin parent or carer feedback is crucial to their products, and by listening to feedback they like to ensure that they can tweak anything with a lower level than 4 star reviews. If there is a no change over a period of a year after any tweaks then they are not afraid to can the item and take it off sale as they believe families deserve the best. How many companies would really take that stance, cost or not? For me that’s priceless.

Fun, Funky, Sustainable Baby Products That Work From Munchkin The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseChatting with Steve and DB it was also clear that just as the team behind Munchkin is diverse its also imaginative and they value ideas and so each member of staff is asked to pitch an idea when they join the company! … Well, never one to be backwards about going forwards I did mention my own idea for a product to use in the car, so here’s hoping they loved it!

Fun, Funky, Sustainable Baby Products That Work From Munchkin The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseMunchkin have very kindly sent me some of their lovely products so watch out for them on my social media accounts soon!

Fun, Funky, Sustainable Baby Products That Work From Munchkin The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThank you Munchkin for allowing me to discover the ethos and love behind the brand and I can’t wait to hear more about the new innovative products going forward and with 33 new products on the market this year I think trying out some of them is not only going to be lots of fun.

I spend so much time in that Cologne expo centre for work! I’ve never been to a baby show though and I must say the Munchkin booth is very eye catching! I love the look of their products too, cute and functional.
