Having The School Holidays Covered With The Kettler Dakar Air Go Kart

*Advertorial Review With Kettler*

Having The School Holidays Covered With The Kettler Dakar Air Go Kart The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseOk, so when I was initially asked about taking a look at a go kart I wasn’t sure if Joshua would take to playing with one. He is normally a die hard bike fan but I like to encourage the kids to try new things so looked forward to the Kettler Dakar Air Go Kart arriving.

When it arrived I was a little intimidated by the size of the box as its MASSIVE! However with kids to entertain we jumped in to get it put together as there is some building to do.

Putting It Together

I can’t really sugar coat this element but being the families flatpack builder and in part DIYer I wasn’t phased till I took a look at the instructions.

I am not going to lie. I thought the instructions were awful. They cover 2 different karts and were confusing so what should have been a quick 20 minutes to put it together took the best part of 3 hours and even a threat of divorce for myself and my husband!

Thankfully I ditched the instructions about 1.5 in and it very quickly it went together well. (Please oh please Kettler do separate instructions with better images and explanations in)

Playing With The Go Kart

This super meaty Go Kart is the thing of dreams for any kids, and by any kid I am including my husband in this too.

Having The School Holidays Covered With The Kettler Dakar Air Go Kart The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseIt is sturdy and super easy to use and amazingly seeing the faces of my kids and my husband it soon put pay to the struggle putting it together. It was priceless!

Having The School Holidays Covered With The Kettler Dakar Air Go Kart The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThe Dakar Air Go Kart is aimed at children aged 5-10 and with its really user friendly adjustable seat Joshua (age 8) took to this amazing Go Kart with ease. Not to be out done by his brother Jacob wanted a go too and although he managed, just. It really showed he needed to be a bit bigger (he is 3.5)

Having The School Holidays Covered With The Kettler Dakar Air Go Kart The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThe chunky tyres were great at keeping it on all 4 wheels even over bumpy surfaces and the brake was really easy to use but it took a few hours for Joshua to get what that was really for instead of his feet.

Having The School Holidays Covered With The Kettler Dakar Air Go Kart The Oliver\\\'s MadhousePrice wise the Dakar Air Go Kart is not cheap at £249 but we totally thought it was worth it as I know its going to be used for many many years for both my kids.
