For the last 2 years our garden has been immensely underused, last year with a very small baby I sat inside for the most part while Joshua and Ollie only went out for a quick game of football or two.
The year before I was pregnant and redecorating the entire house so going outside in the sunshine didn’t seem important with my pregnancy nesting kicked in.
This year is going to be the year of the garden.
We are so very lucky to have a really reasonable sized garden that has a large concrete area and also an equally large grassy area so this year I am dreaming of practically living in the garden instead of being sat inside.
However the garden does need some titivating to get it into its prime condition with fence painting and planting prime tasks on the list for us to do.
In light of the fact we are hoping to spend most of our time out there this year I have been compiling a garden living wish list of garden products that I want to buy to make our garden the now living room!
I am also a massive flower fan and I am loving raised flower beds and planters and with our current plants becoming pot bound and needing some bigger pots Im thinking of investing in raised versions to help me when it comes to garden maintenance like the raised trough planter above from Lionshome.
The prospect of living when we can in the garden this year really has me excited. Although lets hope for limited rain or it might just scupper my plans!
