As you all know my little guy turned 3 last week and after much sadness and reminiscing at the fact the baby years with Joshua are now becoming a distant memory.
So as the day arrived we started with some presents and cards followed by the big unveiling!
We have been keeping the biggest present under wraps .. after some combining of money from his grandparents, some funding from his Christmas money and our birthday present money were able to get the most amazing wooden playhouse!
His playhouse has a washing machine, kitchen and table and chairs and he was overjoyed with it!
We then visited Build A Bear and Joshua built his very first bear (or should I say monkey?!)
We then headed to Red Hot World Buffet for lunch with cousin Dan, Grandma and Grandad Oliver and Aunty Vicky at the only place you can eat yorkshire puddings with chips and pizza and get away with it!
Once home there was more present unwrapping when Effie & Grandad came round, along with some time with the bubble blowing lawn mower, and an enforced capture of Effie into the wooden house!
I think all in all he had the most amazing day … even if we got tears at bedtime when he had to come in from his house!
That house does look like a lot of fun, it’s no wonder he didn’t want to leave it.

I love all the garden fun he can have with that play house. What an amazing present and a perfect age to enjoy it. I’m not surprised there was tears at bedtime!
i have to say i am in love with it too! i can stand up in it so i might just go and pinch it for my new office 😉
He’s a lucky boy to have such a nice family and place to play. They do grow up so fast lol my little man is 33 this year lol

wow i would love a playhouse like that please! its amazing and i have been hinting at my OH to make one for the boys as i know they would adore having thier own ‘den’ in the garden!

Happy birthday to the little man. Three seems so grown up, doesn’t it? My eldest was three in October and it was the first time that I thought he’s not my little baby any more. Can I ask where you got the play house from? I’d like one for our garden and yours looks perfect.

lol we had to save his money from christmas and the grandparents chipped in and we topped it up from his savings as it was super costly .. but seeing his face it was worth it x

Oh my! The playhouse is lovely, what a perfect present. Years of fun will be had from that – a great idea to combine gifts to get something wonderful.

I’m so jealous, I’d love an outdoor playhouse for our kids, but we’re in rented accommodation and the garden is miniscule so it never seems worth it. Sounds like a lovely day all in all 🙂

What a fab playhouse Jaime! I’d love to get something like that for my two but I think the hubster would be unhappy to lose any of his garden!! Build a Bear is something we’ve never done either but I remember my nieces doing it when they were little. My boys have never really bothered with teddies – they prefer their muzzies! I used to love my Snoopy and look forward to buying him new outfits though. It really is difficult to leave such great fun behind to go to bed some days, eh? Fab birthday!

Looks like he had a really wonderful day. That playhouse is fab, our boys had one like that in our house in Edinburgh, they loved it and got lots of use out of it; Joshua is going to have such a brilliant time with it 🙂
