Last month I started on my Maternity clothing wardrobe and in last months #RockTheBump post I told you about my super-duper bargainous jeans, securing the last pair of on sale over bump maternity jeans from Mothercare and let’s be honest I was rather smug with it to since I never seem to spot a bargain and these are in fact £6.40… well that backfired … when they arrived they were awful, so badly fitting and in fact I won’t lie I did shed a tear, over emotional maybe, desperate for comfort … yes!
My bump is certainly on the increase and I have been scouring every inch of the internet for plus sized 28 inch leg maternity jeans and had pretty much come up with extortionately over priced … until I discovered the most amazing store who I found on Amazon .. FunMum Maternity had some amazing Indigo Maternity Jeans for £29.95! and when they arrived only a few days later I was utterly thrilled. These amazing jeans fit beautifully and have a super comfy bump band that extends even round the back to give a lovely fit. They have the expected adjustable waist so going up and coming back down they will certainly be a super buy for me! … so much so after a really helpful email to them to enquire about the options of alternative colours (there will be at a later date) I have even bought another 2! … So I now have 3 pairs of essential jeans that not only look fab but are super comfortable and now no longer need a hair bobble and to keep undoing my old jeans when I sit!

Last year I discovered Hotter Shoes and fell in love with the Danielle boots, they have been my super trusty go to boots over the last year but with this pregnancy I am looking for a really stable heel and a slightly smaller heel too!
With the Hotter comfort concept guaranteeing this pregnant swelling feet some gentle reprieve I have fallen in love with the Danville boots and they come in 3 colours, dark tan, flint and black. My favourites are the flint but I think to make sure they go with everything in my limited maternity wardrobe I will be buying the black.

Just look at those beauties … I can’t help nipping in to try them on! … My birthday is in a couple of weeks and should I get some spending money these are top of my list as its essential to be comfy pregnant or not!

I had a real thing for alternative tshirts when I was pregnant, often shipping them across the world. I think it’s so important to keep your personal style going and enjoy your bump
Jeans and boots are just the thing for heading into autumn anyway. I remember how important my maternity jeans were to me – good to have a comfy pair that look good.
So sorry to hear about the failure of the bargain jeans – but glad you are rocking some other gear now instead!

All my current maternity clothes came from the UK. You have to see some of them to believe them here in Bavaria and it’s a very limited choice – stonewashed C&A dungaree shorts anyone?? 😀
What a shame about the jeans. I lived in my mothercare over the bump jeans, but then that was ten years ago!

ive been pretty lucky ive managed to stay wearing pretty much all my old clothes although some a little stretched now it means i can treat myself after the birth lol
