My Top 10 Products Needed When Traveling On Holiday With Babies & Toddlers

Over the last 4 years we have been immensely lucky to travel not only all over the country but also overseas too. 

Its during the packing up stage with small babies and children that panic tends to set in as depending upon where you are visiting depends on if you can buy replacements.

However to try to counter any problems by heading them off at the packing stage I have accumulated a list of products that we have used when the boys were babies and now while Jacob is a toddler.

SnoozeShade – Ideal for use not only on holiday but for everyday use during the summer – Prices range £19.99 – £34.99

Gro Anywhere Blind – Is adjustable to fit and is fitted with suction cups so ideal for fitting anywhere! This for us was a godsend on holiday as both boys would only sleep if dark – Retails approx £19.99

Muslin Sleeping Bags – Sleeping bags were the one thing both boys couldn’t sleep without, so loved the 0-5 tog muslin bags that meant I could still get the boys to sleep even in the warmest of weathers – Price range £9.99 – £34.00

SpaceCot Travel Cot – I had the pleasure of reviewing this a few weeks back and loved it. It makes for a super speedy set up and we loved it for camping with! – Price £139.99

Ultrasun 50+ Extreme Sun Lotion – Babies and small kids need lots of protection and this product is one I can highly recommend as it goes on and soaks in easily leaving the skin soft and not sticky. It’s also aimed at a one a day market but I do reapply a couple of times a day but not as frequently as a standard suntan lotion – Prices range from £22 -£55
Lightweight Britax Pushchair and Pushchair Travel Bag – There are lots of lightweight pushchairs on the market but not all of them have their own bag to protect them in transit. The Britax B-Agile 3 we reviewed earlier this year is great for travelling and has its own specially designed bag to protect it – Price £25 for pushchair bag £230 for pushchair

Huawei E5573 4G Mobile Wi-Fi – From You Tube to Netflix sometimes taking the internet with you can’t only save your sanity but provide you with some prime viewing or internet surfing once the kids are in bed too! 

For me this device from Three saved my bacon, it was easy to install and gave us internet on the go for both phones and tablets whilst abroad. I was so impressed with this it could probably help us out with out bad internet signal on an evening too when the home internet drop out.  prices start from £9 a month

Skip Hop bags – I have fallen in love with the Skip Hop Zoo collection and we adore the rucksacks and lunchie bags which work well for nappy bags and lunch bags on the move. – Prices from £13 upwards 

EasyMat Mini – We also reviewed this recently and loved it so much we have 2 mini’s we are taking on holiday. They stick to almost every surface (not polished tables) and Jacob likes to self feed so it makes meal times easier and calmer – Price £16.99

Swim Jackets – We discovered swim jackets with Joshua when he was little and now they are a holiday staple for any non or weak swimmers. Joshua is a super swimmer now but Jacob isn’t so he is going to be using them on holidays from here on out – Price £24.99
