Planning Our Big Little Tent Festival

Planning Our Big Little Tent Festival The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseThis summer I am aiming to pack as much as possible into it and to really have fun.

Last year I was pregnant, sick and decorating, it wasn’t fun.

Since we the beginning of the School holidays are almost upon us I am trying to get organised to ensure we really do spend some quality time together and have fun.

While at Britmums this year I heard about the Big Little Tent Festival and loved the whole concept by the Caravan Club.

The Caravan Club hosted its official Big Little Tent Festival at Alderstead Heath Caravan Club Site for the launch event last weekend, however the baton has been passed to each and every one of us to get the kids outside and to enjoy a night camping, from back gardens to seaside holidays they all count and with free downloadable packs to get your camp festival ready it really is about spending time as a family.

Even if like us money is tight there are lots of things to do to keep costs low but give the kids a wonderful festival feel so I have been planning as this weekend we will be having our own family Big Little Tent Festival! … Although I should say Joshua and I will be.

Jacob is going to take part in the daytime fun but will be sleeping inside with Daddy and when Daddy heads to work he will be joining us for breakfast in the garden!

We have bought some cheap BBQ’s and have the sausages and burgers ready to go but this week I am going to dig deep in the sheds and see what items are hiding in there that we can have some summer fun with.

I have also been collecting some ideas on my Pintrest board too:

I would totally love to hear if you are taking part in your own Big Little Tent Festival of your own so please do let me know what you have planned.
