Pop N’ Sit Portable Booster Seat – A Review

Pop N' Sit Portable Booster Seat - A Review The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseIf you have been round this neck of the blogosphere a while you will know that I have been a massive fan of the Pop range from Summer Infant, having previously reviewed their Pop N’ Play and Pop N’ Jump so was thrilled when we were asked if we would like to take a look at their Pop N’ Sit booster seat

We have had several instances of late where we have had nowhere to feed Jacob and since he is self weaning he can be rather messy so have banned eating in his pushchair. So finding a lightweight alternative that’s easy to transport was a must for us.

The Pop N’ Sit booster is designed to be collapsed and put into a carry bag for transportation but it also does more than most booster seats with its BPA-free tray and storage pocket at the bag.

Having been thrilled with it in day-to-day situations, such as taking to friends houses in place of dragging a big highchair it has been great but we decided to really test it out in a field, under canvas!

If you have been camping before you will know like us that space is of a premium, as it weight. The Summer Infant Pop N’ Sit was super small and easy to pack into the car with the rest of the camping kit.

Jacob absolutely loved the seat in the tent and he used it as a chair in its own right (like our camping chairs) and then at meal times we just strapped him into the 3 point harness and added the tray to keep him safely in the seat while he ate.
The seat was sturdy, but in a field it would be best to put it on level ground as with anything if it’s on uneven ground it will slightly rock.

I was initially worried since he is self feeding that the seat would be a nightmare to clean but with a good wipe it was like new again which is great as no one wants caked on food to be the main aesthetic feature of any baby product.

The Pop N’ Sit booster folds so small we easily put it under our smaller lightweight pushchair and it was up and usable in seconds.
Personally having now tested out all 3 of the Pop products I am thrilled with them all but this has been my favourite. Its retail price of £29.99 makes for great investment piece if you are looking for something to transport easily.

Thanks Summer Infant for another ingenious product that has saved our bacon both in houses and in a field!
