Reimatec Winter Overall, Lappi From Reima

Reimatec Winter Overall, Lappi From Reima The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseFor regular readers you will know I discovered a new brand to us a couple of months back HERE and that brand was Reima.

Although its roots were firmly planted back in 1940’s I had never heard of this Finnish company until we partnered with them with their amazing #MillionHoursOfJoy campaign to get kids outside and active.

What I loved about the brand from the off was their mission which is to encourage children to discover the joy of movement, and they have based their business on providing good quality, year-around, tip-to-toe wardrobe for these active children, ages 0 to 12. Meaning Reima takes care of the functionality, safety and sustainability meaning we as parents can just get on with enjoying being outside with the kids.

One of their newest products is the Reimatec Winter Overall which we have been really lucky to get to try out with Jacob in the soft blue colour option.

The Reimatic Winter Overall is water and windproof and breathable and has a dirt repellent finish to it making it a friend to all parents of toddlers!

The overall has taped waterproof seams and has elasticated cuffs, waist and leg ends that we found most helpful to keep the suit just where it needs to be on our very wiggly toddler.

There is a lovely long zip that travels down the middle and down onto one leg that makes getting any really stroppy and wriggly toddlers in the overall easily  and it has a great zip pull that makes zipping up quick and easy so getting it on and getting out the door is as easy as can be.

It has detachable silicone foot loops that can help the suit legs stay in place and they have 2 different sizes so you can shorten and lengthen the foot loops as needed easily and they sit right under the heel on Jacobs welly boots which made walking a breeze.

The hood is a great size and has a velcro section on the back of the head that means you can shorten the depth of the hood if your toddler has a smaller head and we found tightening it slightly meant less tickle from the faux fur trim which is gorgeous.

However if you prefer it you can remove the faux fur completely or even the hood depending upon your own personal preference.

We have left the hood on as Jacob is a nightmare at keeping hats on so this worked well at keeping him happy with no hat and me less stressed knowing he was still going to be nice and warm as the suit can protect down to -20 degrees!

I loved the soft blue colour its nicer in real life than the pictures online and the reflective details are also tastefully done without being garish to detract from the design but are still just as effective.

Thank you so much Reima for coming to our rescue and allowing Jacob the freedom of play whatever the weather as he is totally an outdoor kid and needs to be outside come rain, snow or shine! I am now no longer dreading the winter quite so much now we can keep him warm, dry and comfortable.
