Over the last few weeks we have had to unpack and assemble the Maxi-Cosi Loola pushchair, which I am pleased to say this was super easy, within 10 minutes it was together and ready to rock and roll .. although I personally did find the instructions a little small.
Public transport was also not an issue for the Maxi-Cosi Loola and it even coped well with a shopping excursion, largely down to the really large shopping basket and to the sturdiness of pushchair.
So down to the nitty gritty:
What We Loved:
- The easy assembly
- Large extendable hood
- Great manoeuvrability (even one handed and including going backwards)
- Easily fold and unfold
- Wheel locking on the chassis as opposed to the wheels (keeping hands clean!)
- Forward and parent facing mode
- Large shopping basket (with the crossbar inside the bottom of the basket as opposed to the top like the old version)
- Sturdy a secure to push
- Adjustable handle
- More user friendly bumper bar than the old Loola
Our Little Niggles:
- Instruction booklet is way to small to decipher the diagrams properly (thankfully you don’t really need the instructions to assemble)
- The hood doesn’t clip like the rest of the pushchair I personally prefer a ‘click’ like the rest of the pushchairs connections.
- I am not a fan of the complete all over raincover ( I prefer the old zip on hood version)
- Still quite heavy to be getting in and out all the time (however I feel the extras it gives you for what I feel will be a versatile long lasting pushchair, its worth it)
- My final request would be to have the changing bag included, it has specially designed hooks for it so it would be nice to have the whole pushchair unit as a whole when buying it (obviously that’s just a nicety not necessity)
