Rocket Blastin Buzz & Bull Ridin’ Woody A Review

Rocket Blastin Buzz & Bull Ridin' Woody A Review The Oliver\\\'s Madhouse
Something that shocked me this last week is the fact that the much-loved Toy Story is actually celebrating its 20th birthday and it really made me stop and think … I am not sure I had really thought much about how long ago the film was released but it’s always just kind of been there … Lurking in the DVD cupboard ready to put on when the moment arrives.

However it has been a while since we had sat with Joshua to watch the film and since the last time he really didn’t  we decided to wait until he was a little older and could understand it and sit still to actually watch it so on hearing that there we some new action figures out and being asked to test drive them it seemed like a great idea to watch the film with him again.

Needless to say the film was hit and he never moved a muscle …. So we were really excited to see how he reacted with the new figures when he saw them.

We were sent the Rocket Blastin Buzz (RRP £49.99) and the Bull Ridin Woody (RRP £49.99) and on them arriving I was thrilled to see the dimensions of both toys, they are such a lovely size and really well packaged.

The Rocket Blast Buzz is totally epic in my humble opinion … and since he is my favourite character from the film I was thrilled to see just how much detail he comes with and 30 words and phrases and even LED lights!

It would be fair to say I am a little bit in love with him!

Joshua’s favourite is the 12″ Bull Ridin’ Woody that comes equipped with motion sensors so he can tell when he is sat on his bull or not, adapting his phrases to if he is sitting on his bull or not! (genius)

Bull Ridin’ Woody comes with his bull, hat and lassoo, the hat and lasso can both be added to his hands and removed whenever your child wants them to be with ease.

Joshua really loved the push button on the back of him that when depressed it spins his arm so it looks like he is lassoing if he has that in his hand at the time or tipping his hat if it’s the hat he is holding!

With a little boy hooked on the Toy Story films and characters we are looking forward to spending more time-sharing the joy that is Toy Story with Joshua and his new pals Woody and Buzz … even if it did make me feel old that the first film was 20 years ago!
