Last year through the summer we had intended to take so much more time off all together and instead we squeezed in a week in Wales but the rest was hit and miss as Ollie and I were like ships that passed in the night. And if I am honest I missed him and missed the kids as my work took off and time was more about balancing than fun and family.
For me 2020 is going to be about packing in fun and family with every space ounce of my being.
I turned 40 last year and I want to savour this decade of my life and make memories. The last decade saw me fall in love, marry, build 2 businesses and give birth to 2 amazing boys and it was an amazing decade but it was truly exhausting and so I want this one to slow down and allow me to drink it all in.
We have already put a deposit down on a summer camping trip to Budle Baby Campsite in Northumberland with our new tent (Thank goodness for black Friday deals) Other camping trips I would love to get in are some local ones in Nottinghamshire but also we are currently looking at some a little further afield too!
Day trip adventures are also in the spotlight too and with a second visit to Crich Tramway Museum on the cards after loving our last trip last year. We are also hoping to visit Tycross Zoo with my Mum and Dad too.
