Headphones are a great gift for a music-loving dad. Rather than risk getting him a record he already has – or worse one he can’t stand – give him a better listening experience. Beats headphones can let you listen to music the way you were meant to. Plus if you go for the wireless option, it can make dad’s life that little bit easier. Five minutes of charging gets three hours of playback time. He can listen to the music he loves, whenever he wants.
Coffee Maker
If the dad of the house is a big coffee fan, why not get him his very own own coffee maker? Esquire suggests a great one that makes a quality brew. A coffee maker in the kitchen means dad can start his day right. If you’re buying for your own father, you could also buy him a special bag of coffee beans with a rule that you can only brew them together. You’re giving him the gift of great coffee and also the gift of your time. It makes the gift that little bit more special.
Streaming Services
Only a few years ago, you could get dad a box set of a TV series he’s been meaning to watch or a DVD of his favourite film. Whereas in this day and age that seems a little outdated, don’t you think? However, this now means you can give them so much more than one series or movie. By paying for his streaming service – such as Netflix or Amazon Prime – you’re giving dad access to a whole world of content. It allows plenty of time for some family film nights.
Similar with the likes of giving dad access to streaming services, you could give him a whole library of books courtesy of a Kindle. You could even go that one step further and download some books you’d think he would enjoy. A Kindle is also a great option if dad travels a lot. He doesn’t have to worry about packing books with him, there’s a bunch of them waiting to be read in a handy pocket-sized device. He’ll be spoilt for choice.
