Now most of you that know me personally will know that I am not massively enamoured with electronic gadgets for children, that s not to say we don’t have some available for Joshua, it’s just I think there needs to be other toys in the mix too.
For me I have always found that wooden toys really are timeless and hard-wearing and most of Joshua’s wooden toys had seen more than one child through so were very much worth investing.
When Asda asked me to take a look at their new range of wooden toys I was excited to see what they have come up with.
So heading off to the Asda website to see what they had I have to say I was more than impressed with the amount of products but also that they started in price from £3 up to £149.
I was also really pleased to see not only their own brand items but also other branded items to including items from Little Tikes and Plum too.
The current items in the range cater for a really reasonable breadth of ages and looking at what is on offer they seem to be reasonably priced too. So there will be some great finds for Christmas presents!
We have had the privilege of having some of these toys to play with at home and I have to say I have been really really impressed with the quality of the products especially for the price.
I have no doubt there will be many more hours of fun to be had with these toys in the months and even years to come!

I’m so impressed with this range, it’s lovely to see Slow Toys making such an impact on the market and they are beautiful toys. It’s nice to hear the quality is good, and it can only be a great thing that so many more children will get to play using their imaginations and creativity rather than mindlessly staring at screens all the time – as mine would given half the chance I’m sure!
It certainly was fab to see such a great range all reasonably priced too! I think wooden toys really do offer something in their own right and you have it totally, its the imaginative side as its all about imagination 🙂
These wooden toys look fantastic I sure know Sophie would have hours of fun with the shop till. I think I may buy her that for part of her birthday present. I like the idea of an ice cream bar with no calories lol!
lol me too, no calories and lots of fun! .. perfect!
