Little Tikes Cosy Coupe Car -£62
The Little Tikes Cosy Coupe car has been one of my kids most favourite toys for the garden and all 3 of my children have loved the original red and yellow car.
Being immensely well made our current coupe car has been used by 3 children and it’s still going strong so could possible be used by a 4th giving amazing value for money.
This was a gift that was bought for Jacob at Christmas and it has by far been one of his favourites. This lovely Bosch cordless drill/screwdriver toy is battery powered and comes with real life sound (although obviously quieter than a normal one!) it has forward and reverse motion and even has a light and interchangeable head.
We thought this was a great price for it and its great for motor skills and hand eye coordination.
Transformers – Optimus Prime Robot Toy – £25
Transformers were around when I was a child and I was thrilled a few years back to discover that they were back with a vengeance!
Joshua loved these shape changing characters and this has been passed down to Jacob who is totally embracing the character changes!
Optimus Prime is a great size and super easy to change for little fingers. Both my boys can play for hours with these figures and although this one is their favourite there are other figures available in the range along with varying price brackets too.
Magic Tracks – Glow in the Dark Rescue Set – £35
This nifty Magic Tracks play set comes with everything you need to play for hours. We bought this for the boys as a one of gift in their Christmas Eve box this year to share and we have not been disappointed both boys play well with it and even though Jacob has just turned 3 he plays really well with for hours at a time.
This range of toys again comes in varying sized sets so you can buy according to your budget but its worth noting that the sets can be joined together to make them even bigger too!
Duplo Street Airport – £18
Ok so realistically any Duplo set would do. Jacob has become and avid fan of Duplo after watching his big brother create masterpieces with its smaller Lego counterpart.
The range of sets is extensive and Jacobs last set was Christmas themed but there really is so many on offer you are bound to find one to suit your little ones taste.
Building is one of my favourite motor skill builders, after all its fun packed learning!
