Trampolining As Exercise – Can It Work?

Trampolining As Exercise - Can It Work? The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseMy weight loss story has been a well documented fact here on this blog. If you have missed it you can read all about it HERE.

I have fluctuated in sizes, never really getting my head around losing weight. Just when I get one element right it seems another scuppers my mind set and my resolve.

Eat Less Move More

We all know that eating less and moving more is the key to successful weight loss. But being truthfully honest I have struggled with both elements.

I have never found the combination of food and exercises that have worked together so I have felt unmotivated for a fair amount of time.

Over recent months I have had some health issues and with a further possible surgery on the cards and my 40th birthday later this year it seems that I really need to get it together and eat less and move more.

A New Way Of Exercising

I am about to embark next week on the move more aspect to my weight loss journey. Boogie Bounce.

Yes, you read that right, those of you that know what is are probably sniggering. Those of you that don’t, well its a complete exercise programme performed on a mini trampoline. The programme consists of a highly effective H.I.I.T cardio section followed by a toning section, working bums, tums and thighs.

Feeling Insecure

Being a larger lady any form of exercise can be daunting so I am feeling rather anxious about this rather drastic exercise programme but equally as excited by it too.

Eating Less

Next I need to tackle the eating side of things. Since Joshua’s diagnosis for intolerances, food has been a more difficult thing to address. We are now getting into a more established routine with meal planning and for the most part all of us eating the same meals at teatime. In the coming weeks I am going to make some daytime changes to my eating, while trying to maintain healthier versions of tea with the family.

For the first time in months I am finally feeling like I am back in control of my eating and exercise and this year I am turning 40 so here’s to being fit at 40!

will be interesting to watch this space and see how it goes. I am with you though, I have maintained ( my obese) weight within a 1 or 2 either side of 16 stone for over 30 years.
When I went to college 15 years ago I started swimming 35=40 lengths in the swimming pool 5 mornings a week for 3 years, and lost naff all. My eating did not change, I did not consume more calories because of it.
Seems no matter what I do my weight stays stubborn.

Sunday at work consisted of 21,357 steps with 398 fat burning/cardio minutes. Saturday was a more leisurely day with 16.595 steps and 250 mins of cardio/fat burning, it is not as though I am naturally lazy, my job does not allow for that. I turn 60 this year and would love to be 14 stone somthing by then
