Visiting Santa’s Grotto At Floralands

Visiting Santa's Grotto At Floralands The Oliver\\\'s MadhouseLast weekend we were set to visit Belton House for a trip to see Santa with Joshua and his Oliver grandparents when the wind struck and in fact the location of seeing Santa was moved to another venue so instead of travelling in the bad weather it was decided to move the christmas Santa visit closer to home and so off we went to a fairly local garden centre, Floralands.

We love this garden centre at this time of year as they always make a super effort with the grotto and with a lovely shop, cafe and even a small farm park it’s lovely to visit and this time we got to go with some of Joshua’s grandparents.

From the moment we arrived the Christmas spirit was in force with elves and helpers waiting for the eager Children and Joshua for one was really excited! … After all who doesn’t love a trip to see Santa?!

He eagerly walked round the Grotto until it was his turn to see Santa ….

He told him how good he had been and chatted with Santa about what he would like for Christmas and then he was given a very special gift.

So we took the special gift and a super happy boy to the coffee shop so he could open up his present and see what magic awaited him under that wrapping paper.

What more could a boy want … a traction motorbike, a biscuit and some quality time … prefect …

The bonus for this garden centre is they also have a really lovely shop too!

It was so lovely to see my little guys smile and to take some time out to spend some quality time with him, I am not sure where the time is going these days so I am going to make sure I spend as much time as I can drinking in this time with him and enjoy this festive season and the months to come.

It has been a tough few months but his smile makes things a little easier.
