Why Thinking About Packing For A Holiday Is Always My Job

The sun has started to shine, the nights are getting lighter and invariably people are thinking about holidays. We have a holiday booked later this year but I have already started to think about the planning. 

The booking confirmations, the suitcases, the clothes …. 

Now this is where things tend to get slightly fraught.

Who knew just how many new clothes you would need for a summer holiday, either home or abroad it seems that when it comes to looking at what we might need to pack as nothing fits or everything has seen better days.

Ollie and I have been together now for 7 years and it would be fair to say I am the household packer and its perhaps a good job. Ollie’s idea of packing is so not my way. He is notoriously bad at forgetting things and either packs too little or too much but that’s only after I have been on his case about making sure he has the any clothes to pack at all.

So in light of being organised this year I have sent Ollie in the depths of his wardrobes to see just what summer clothing he has and he came up lacking. 

Thankfully the folks at Jacamo stepped in to help me find some key pieces of mens summer clothing to update his summer wardrobe with some of his favourite brands.

Ollie tends to like sports type shorts for the day time and then tends to love polo t-shirts and more formal shorts for evenings. Jacamo has a really large range of soft touch t-shirts and these come in different body lengths too along with a varied range of sizes. 

Our top choice for the polo shirts is the Capsule Austin range and they come in several colours but Ollie’s favourite are the grey and black. 

So now we have some key pieces I can finally think about packing. 

Thankfully I will be packing for everyone so I can be sure everyone has the right clothes!
