If you are a regular reader you will know that I have recently discovered WOW Toys and the first toy we had ever played with in this house was Dudley Dump Truck and he was a total hit so now having the opportunity to review Robbie Racer was a super exciting possibility for us and particularly Joshua!
When Joshua opened up the box to see Robbie Racer waiting to play .. he actually mini fist pumped (who knew at 4 he would know how to do that!)
I utterly love the information on the internet that WOW Toys add and Robbie’s is no different:
“I’m Robbie Racer, the WOW Toys’ super-fast race car! Along with my driver, Jensen, I have never lost a race and don’t plan to either! On the race track I give no mercy, but off it I am a nice guy who loves to hang with my best buds, The Turbo Twins, Dynamite Daisy and Fireball Frankie! Together, we make up the WOW Toys’ racing car section and together, we are an unstoppable racing force! All slow coaches can eat my dust as I speed past to get the number 1 spot!”
I think setting up the character is all part of the excitement as this time I read Joshua Robbie’s credentials!
As with the previous review for Dudley Dump Truck I was ver impressed with the level of thought that has gone into him, the robustness, and general playability have been fantastic, the racing car is again motorised so needs no batteries, it also has engine sounds! .. Along with his little figure ‘Robbie’ Joshua has had masses of fun playing with this guy.
Robbie Racer is fantastic for hand eye co-ordination and fine motor skills, along with imaginative play it makes it a super all rounder and the bonus is .. its lots of fun too!
